4 New YouTube Features You Must Know

There is no doubt that YouTube is the leader and will be leading in the web history for hosting videos. Users can view and upload many videos of different categories and is a centre of entertainment now a days.
YouTube is the ranked 3 website in the Internet and ranked 1 website in video hosting and sharing field. on top of that Google always tries to introduce new features to users and change the old ones. In this way they had introduced 4 new features. We are now going to give a look at those 4 new features they officially launched on YouTube.

1) Feather
Actually watching videos on the internet is a tough task for users with low band width because they are confined to low internet packs. With this slow internet users cannot watch videos without buffering for a long time and watching videos can easily empty ones pocket money  to change the internet plan because for a 10 minutes video on internet it easily consumes 100MB of data.
To overcome this problem YouTube has implemented new technology for playing videos even in low bandwidth. That is 'Feather' which is in beta stage with lowest latency. In this mode it does not show any videos on right side(No Suggested Videos) and reduce the bytes that are been downloaded by the browser.

2) HTML 5 Video
This is the new feature which is implemented on HTML 5 version and now YouTube tries to embed this format in their videos by replacing default .flv format. The main advantage of this new feature is that you can watch videos on youtube with out any flash plug-in. It works on all latest browsers like firefox, safari, chrome and Internet Explorer too.
So this feature can avoid flash plug-in crashes and security breaches using out dated flash plug-in.

3) Video Questions Editor
By using this feature users can answer questions which are displayed on video playback. If you have any video channel then you can also add some questions for users. This option is available on video edit page.
This feature may or may not be used in future on YouTube. If more users want this feature then it can be alive on YouTube.

4) YouTube Music Discovery
Now you can mix up your favourite songs on Youtube. They come up with new feature that allows you to mix popular videos on YouTube. They named this feature as 'Disco' and the process they applied just find, mix and watch.

Emopulse Smile SmartWatch Full Review

Emopulse Smile Smartwatch is attractively designed mobile device in form of the bracelet with rich functionality, long battery life and voice assitant.
Emopulse Smile SmartWatch
Functions
As a phone, you can use verbal commands to control the call functions, for example, “Yes” or another affirmative word can be used to pick up calls. You can also send text messages, emails and access your social media profiles on the Smile. However, I would imagine that it would be difficult to type on something which is on your wrist. Either you use one hand to type or you can dictate. Dictation might be difficult as current voice-based verbal commands are not 100% accurate or even near that. It might also be difficult to use in noisy situations or awkward when in private situations.
Emopulse Smile SmartWatch
The Smile is also equipped with the NFC (near field communications) payment system, allowing you to wave your wrist over an contactless payment system to pay for your purchases. Payment related functions and data will be blocked and encrypted when the Smile is removed from your wrist, so it prevents theft of your digital data. NFC payment systems are quickly gaining momentum but many people are still using older methods of payments. This feature might be handy in the near future, but its benefits might be harder to see at the moment.
Emopulse Smile SmartWatch
Key Features

  • 4G - 4G communication networks have comparable data transfer rates to Wi-Fi connections. That is how you can download video files on the go much faster than ever before, without interfering with voice communication.
  • Processor OMAP 5 - This processor is the fastest one for the mobile devices and laptops currently available. Despite its speed, it is power consumption is surprisingly low. On a full charge your bracelet will operate for up to 7 days. The built in graphical processing of the OMAP 5 will allow for simultaneous display of HD video on 3 screens, or displaying on one 3D screen.
  • 128/256 GB flash - Now you may easily carry your whole music collection and electronic library in high quality formats. Even better, the high-speed Thunderbolt and USB 3.0 interfaces allows for fast and easy data transfer. Your data is secured by a voice recognition system. As soon as the bracelet is taken off the user’s arm, data access is blocked and may only be unlocked by the user's voice.
  • USB 3.0 - 4,8 Gb/s - A USB socket will always be available.
  • NFC - The device will be able to store all the electronic keys that you use. Your banking, club and discount cards as well as wireless tickets for public transport and many other EDC items will also be storable on your phone.

Email and Share Photos with Windows Essentials

Two of the best tools in Windows Essentials make it easy to share photos in what ever way suits you. Windows Live Mail can send special photo emails that will never get refused because of attachment size limits, while Photo Gallery gives easy access to sharing sites such as Flickr(www.flickr.com), which now gives you an amazing 1TB of free online storage and lets you keep your photos private. Download Windows Essentials from www.snipca.com/9566, sign up for a free Microsoft account, then sign into Windows Mail.

STEP 1 Photo Gallery will find your photos automatically, including any shared with you by other users on the computer. You can make the photos easier to browse by using Photo Gallery to show your photos by date, not folder. Start Photo Gallery, click the top-left blue menu button and click Options. Select both options in the Navigation Pane section of the General tab. Click OK and two extra menus will appear in the left column. Use the arrows that appear as you move over years to expand the menus to show months and then days.
Email and Share Photos with Windows Essentials
STEP 2 Select the Photos you want to send by clicking the small box that appears when the mouse moves over a photo. To select a range of photos, click the first you want to send, hold down shift and click the last photo. To add extra photos to an existing selection, hold down Ctrl when you click on photos. Once you have selected all the photos you want to send, click the ‘Photo email’ button on the right of the Home Ribbon tab.
Email and Share Photos with Windows Essentials
STEP 3 Your Photos will appear in a new message. Enter the email addresses to which you would like to send the message and give it a subject. You can type a message above the photo album. Click the ‘Enter album name here’ text and give the album a name. This will help you find it online later (see Step 7). The paper clip icon will convert the message into an ordinary message with attachments, which is something to avoid if you don’t want the message rejected for being too big.
Email and Share Photos with Windows Essentials
STEP 5 Setting the correct size of your photos is very important, especially if you expect the recipient to print them. Click the ‘Large (1600px)’ button right of ‘Album styles’ and choose Original. The 1600px size will only give acceptable quality for 6x4-inch print outs and will look progressively worse as the size is increased.Conversely, if the recipient will open the email on their mobile phone, you should choose Medium (600px) to avoid using up their data allowance.
Email and Share Photos with Windows Essentials
STEP 6 The message to the right of the large button shows you that the photo album will be available online for 90 days. Click the button to remove the orange background and the album will never expire. Click ‘Album privacy’ and deselect the top option if you want recipients to be able to forward the album onto their friends. Select the bottom option if you want to include extra information about the photos, including location. Click OK then Send.

STEP 7 If you think someone might have got hold of the link without your permission or you just want to stop sharing the album, sign in at www.skydrive.com with your Microsoft account and click the photo album. Click Sharing in the top bar. Click ‘People with a view link’ and then click ‘Remove permissions’. Check the change by ensuring that the ‘People with a view link’ entry has disappeared from the Permissions section. The link will stop working, although the recipient of the email will still have permission if they have a Microsoft account.Remove them by clicking their email address on the left and then ‘Remove permissions’.
Email and Share Photos with Windows Essentials
STEP 8 You can Share Your photos more publically using Facebook. In Photo Gallery, select the photos you want to include as in Step 2 and click the Facebook icon in the Share box in the Home Ribbon tab. You will need to give your Microsoft account permission to access your Facebook account.Select the tasks that you are happy for it to perform and confirm the permissions. Give the new album a name and description. Choose how visible you want your album to be using the Everyone drop down menu. Click Publish and your photos will be published on your Facebook Timeline.
Email and Share Photos with Windows Essentials
STEP 9 Photo gallery can back up your photos online to the free 1TB of space provided by Flickr. The process is much easier if you sign into Flickr in your web browser before you start. In Photo Gallery, select the photos you want to upload and click the Flickr icon in the Share section. You may need to click the down arrow to show all the sharing options. A message will appear asking for authorisation. Click the Authorise button. Your web browser will start and ask you to authorise the access to your account. Check the details and click ‘OK, I will authorise it’. A code number will appear. Type this into the Photo Gallery window with the hyphens and click Next.
Email and Share Photos with Windows Essentials
STEP 10 The publish to FLICKR options will appear. Check the account is correct and select ‘Create new set’ in the Photo sets’ drop down menu. Give the set a name and description and click Create. Leave ‘Photo size’ as Original and choose who should be able to see the photos in the Permissions menu. Click Publish when you arre happy with the settings and your files will be uploaded. How long this takes will depend on the number and size of the photos. Click Close when it has finished. Your photos are now on Flickr.

iLauncher - Get iOS interface on your Android device

While I am a lover of the designs that Apple has implemented on the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 iOS after testing a while I have come to the conclusion that Android is far superior in terms of functionality, aesthetics and simplicity.

So I think the idea absurd to try to have the iPhone interface on our Android, although I must admit that I find the idea funny joke to some of those Apple fanboys friends.

Just imagine their faces with the thought that I have iOS on my Galaxy S3 and think this may cause indignation I find it quite fun to try iLauncher, a theme for Android that allows us to mimic the operation of the Apple operating system.
Among the features of iLauncher highlights the fluidity of the user interface, something you do not see in other free options, and the ability to interact with icons moving them anywhere on the screen.

Also this launcher offers a dock favorite applications located on the bottom, a search page, folders, deployed iPhone style, shortcuts to your favorite pages and support for tablets in iPad mode.

Air Call Answer - Answer calls without touching your device

Would you like to easily answer calls without touching your phone? Now that's possible with Air Call Answer !
Air call answer
Air Call Answer
Samsung had already enabled something similar in their latest devices and now comes to the vast majority of phones: Air Call Answer allows us to answer calls without touching your phone as long as the device count on a proximity sensor (most phone incorporating it).

With this application we can answer calls by simply passing your hand in front of the proximity sensor or just taking the phone to our ear to talk directly. We can also configure Automatic Speaker mode that will activate the speaker to answer the call, a very useful option for when you have your hands full.

Now, surely some of you are thinking, what if I have my phone in my pocket? Are the calls are automatically contestestarĂ¡n if my hand goes near the proximity sensor? The answer is no. Air Call Answer PocketMode includes avoiding such problems.

This application also enable / disable vibration alert and the call message on the screen.

Air Call Answer can be downloaded free of charge from Google Play. It is an application that is still in development but it also represents a good option to change a bit the way we answer our calls.

DELL LATITUDE 10 - Windows 8 Tablet Complete Review

The vast majority of Windows 8 tablets are hybrid devices that transform into a laptop or PC with slide-out, hinged or dockable keyboards. The Dell Latitude 10 is one of the few we have come across that’s just a tablet, but it has plenty of optional extras that enable it to perform all kinds of tricks. The most remarkable thing about the Latitude 10 is that, unlike most current tablets, you can remove its battery and plug in an extended battery which runs for longer, although this is not easy. In our tests, the standard battery lasted an impressive nine hours when playing videos continuously. The extended battery, available for £96, doubles battery life, but adds bulk and increases the weight from 658g, about average for a 10in tablet, to 820g which is heavy. However, removing the battery from its nook is fiddly.
You need to slide the release latch, then prise it out with your finger nails. Without the extended battery attached, the Latitude 10 is a reasonably slender tablet, albeit thicker than the iPad and most Android tablets. This extra thickness has been put to good use however–there’s a full-size SD card slot and a USB2 port. Since it runs the full version of Windows 8 rather than Windows RT, the Latitude 10 works with most Windows 7-compatible printers, scanners and other peripherals. It can run older Windows programs, as well as apps downloaded from the Windows Store. You won’t need to buy Microsoft Office as the 2013 Home and Student Edition is pre installed for free–a very useful extra that would cost you £99 if bought separately. There is a downside in terms of performance, however.
The Latitude 10 is equipped with a 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z 2760 processor and just 2GB of memory. This is fine for simple tasks such as browsing the web and working in Office, but having more than a few programs open slows it down. It plays standard definition videos from YouTube and BBC iPlayer just fine, but it can’t play high definition videos smoothly, either on its own 10in display or on a connected TV or second monitor. The upside to this poor performance is the absence of distracting cooling fans and vents which are necessary on devices running on more powerful Intel chips.
It has a 64GB SSD, which is large for a tablet at this price. But the catch is, with Windows and Office installed, only 26GB is left for you to add programs, apps and media files. Although you can use USB and cloud storage to increase capacity, it’s a shame there is not an option for a larger built-in SSD. Dell has squeezed 1366x768 pixels into the 10in display. It’s bright, but text looks fuzzy and the backlight is somewhat uneven–the bottom of the display (when held horizontally) is a little brighter than the top. Image quality is still good though, with accurate colours and wide viewing angles. It also works well as a touchscreen, responding quickly and accurately to our finger taps. You can use the touchscreen with Dell’s stylus, which costs an extra £40.

The stylus is pressure-sensitive, which means the harder you press on the screen the thicker the mark you make. This would be useful for aspiring artists were it not for the tablet’s poor performance running complex graphics programs. Although its rear has a soft touch texture, it feels slippery. A range of cases are available that make the tablet easier to grip and act as a stand, with a nook for stowing the stylus. However, in a glaring oversight none of Dell’s own-branded cases fit the Latitude 10 if the extended battery is attached, and we have not found any others that do.
Another useful accessory is the docking station, which costs an extra £130. Slot the tablet into this and it will have access to a Gigabit Ethernet port,a full-size HDMI socket and four USB ports.Connect a keyboard, mouse and monitor and you can use the Latitude 10 like a desktop PC.The connection between the tablet and dock feels a little flimsy, though, and the tablet’s screen sits at a fixed angle, although we found it comfortable enough to use at a desk. On paper the Dell Latitude 10 looks ideal–an inexpensive Windows 8 tablet with Microsoft Office included. But it’s not helped by the patchy selection and dubious quality of touchscreen apps in the Windows Store. The Latitude 10’s ability to run existing Windows programs and its potential as a fully edged desktop PC is undermined by its poor performance and the need for costly accessories.
The price of the Latitude 10, the extended battery,a case, the stylus and the dock comes to £805 almost £100 more than the 64GB Microsoft Surface Pro and only £50 less than a quality ultra-portable laptop such as the 11in Mac Book Air. Think very carefully about what you want from a portable computer before buying the Latitude 10.

KEY POINTS
  • Inexpensive
  • Removable battery
  • Office 2013 included
  • Good battery life
  • Useful accessories available but cost adds up fast
  • Poor performance
  • Limited built-in storage
  • USB port

Embed A Video With HTML5

Embedding video used to involve embedding a Flash object but with HTML5 you can go native.

HTML5 video is actually pretty straightforward: there is a basic set of HTML tags, and an API that allows you to specially craft your own unique user interface so you are able to match your site design exactly and nothing looks out of place. However, it is important to focus on making your video controls as intuitive as possible and if you are only interested in getting your video to play, you can take a shortcut by using one of the many libraries available to quickly get your video in place on the page. In this tutorial we are going to look at each part of the HTML required, and show you how to put a fallback for Flash in place.

1) Encode your video
First and most importantly you need to encode your video in formats suitable for the browsers and devices you’re targeting. Mobile devices tend to have H.264 decoding chips, and all the major browsers with the exception of Opera now support this format, so at a minimum ensure you have output an MP4 file.

2) The basic HTML
Assuming you have now got your video uploaded to your server, and you have also set your MIME types correctly. You can start embedding your video with a simple HTML tag: <video>. Add the following quick line of code shown to embed your video, and make sure you remember to test your page in the browser and see that it actually works!
3) Multiple sources
The code we have used works well if you only have one video f ile, but if you have created multiple encoded video types, for H.264, Ogg and WebM, this approach won’t work as it only allows one source f ile to be specif ied. Instead we can use the <source> tag, nested inside the <video> tag, to specify di fferent source files.
4) Understand the type
You will notice that in the previous example code, we specif ied the video type for each <source> tag. This string is really important as it lets the browser know exactly what kind of encoding the f ile being referenced has. The browser uses this to determine whether it can actually play the f ile or not. From there it will automatically choose an option it can recognise and thus, will play.

5) Deal with folder browsers
Older browsers won’t understand the <video> and <source> tags and will simply ignore them. They will happily render content inside the <video> tag, whereas HTML5-capable browsers will ignore nested content. This o ffers a handy solution to providing a fallback. We can nest an <object> tag inside the <video> tag, linking to a Flash video player.

6) Embed the fallback
Embedding a fallback <object> is as simple as taking the code you would ordinarily use to place a Flash movie in your page and placing it inside your <video> tag, alongside the <source> tags. Add the lines of code shown below to place your fallback in position. Note that we are making speci fic reference to the H.264 f ile as the video source.
7) Video properties
You can control your video’s behaviour and appearance using di fferent attributes on the <video> tag itself. If you would like the browser to render its standard video controls, such as a transport bar, play/pause and volume buttons, add the attribute ‘controls’ to your tag. The autoplay attribute dictates your video’s initial state – playing or paused.
8) Access the API
The HTML5 video API allows you to control your video (or audio), setting properties and calling methods to play, pause, control the speed of playback and more. You can access the API by selecting the video element using the DOM, then calling methods directly upon it. Start by using document.getElementById() to locate your video.
9) Di fferent methods
There are a variety of di fferent methods you can use within your script. Some good options to experiment with in the first instance include play() and pause(). Add the code shown below to make your video play and pause when you click on it (not just on the play button itself).
10) Make it easier
One of the drawbacks to using the native HTML5 video and audio API is that when a browser is using the fallback, the API won’t function correctly. The easiest way to solve this is to use a library that provides an integrated API to add compatibility with a fallback option. The following pages detail some great options to try.
