Galaxy S6 | The Future Of Smartphones

Samsung’s making a strong foundation with its Galaxy line up of smartphones offering premium experience in a not so cheap body, all covered in a plastic shell off course. But this doesn’t stop Samsung from becoming the major smartphone dealer, because what it packs inside that plastic body is something innovative improving with each iteration of the Galaxy line up.
Galaxy S6 review
Galaxy S6 Body

Galaxy S6’s predecessor, the S5 had a plastic body, polycarbonate in tech language to be precise. Although sturdy enough, the phone was prone to scuffs and cracks while the extra bezel protects the screen from shattering. The Galaxy S6 will be a premium like the Galaxy Note 4, the next in line phablet. Like the Note 4 which is all rumoured to have an all metal casing, the Galaxy S6 will be coming with aluminium edges and a metal rear side promising better protection from dents, scratches and other beating that you can give to the smartphone. While this is premium to say, it has something nifty under the metal casing, one which we saw in the Galaxy S5 recently, the IP certified rating for dust proof and waterproof capabilities. Take a dive or wander in the desert or any dusty sandy areas for that matter, your Galaxy S6 will survive.

Galaxy S6 Display

AMOLED is the word that comes to mind when we talk about Galaxy lineups, because the technology itself had a huge impact on smartphone users. The AMOLED panel promises a vivid multimedia experience in any lighting condition. Reaching the 1080P range, the AMOLED panel in Galaxy S5 almost beat the IPS LCD panels in readability in direct sunlight. The Galaxy S6 is speculated to have either a QHD panel with a total resolution of 2560x1440 in a 5.5 inch panel or a 3840x2160 in the same 5.5 inch panel, yes 4K all the way. No matter how you look at it, vivid is the term that could describe the display. 4K or QHD, the Galaxy S6 will be your ideal multimedia partner.

Galaxy S6 Camera

Samsung’s ISOCELL technology proved its worth with stellar performance in the Galaxy S5 and shooting for top ranking DXOMARK. The Note 4 is rumoured to have a 12 Megapixel camera with OIS, but the Galaxy S6 is going all the way to 20 Megapixel mark. OIS or Digital is the question, but either way the Galaxy S6 promises to give perfectly balanced and exposed pics in any lighting condition. 4K being a standard, we might also be seeing a bump in frames too, with 4K being offered in 60fps.

Galaxy S6 Processor

The Galaxy S6 is going to be a powerhouse offering best in line hardware and software experience. As is always, there will be two variants with a Qualcomm SoC and Samsung’s in house Exynos  SoC. The Qualcomm one will be a Snapdragon 810 coupled with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM and the other with Exynos 6, an octa core variant with the same memory module. Either way, the Galaxy S6 is a powerhouse, and the new SoCs will be bringing in a slew of features including the all new 64 bit architecture to Android although Samsung Galaxy Note 4 might have it beat with its Exynos 5433.
